How do I make a travel claim?

Your travel claim must be submitted as soon as possible. It is recommended to submit it within 24 hours but no later than 30 days from the date of loss or damage. You can submit your claims via the Etiqa app. For more information on Claims, Procedures and Settlements, please refer to your Insurance Policy Contract.

When does the cover commence and end for each trip?

Domestic (Malaysia) Coverage commences from the effective date at 12:01am Malaysian time and ceases on whichever of the following occurs first: 1. Immediate upon arrival at your home of residence in Malaysia; or 2. The expiry of the period of insurance at 23:59pm Malaysia time, on the date specified under the Policy.

International (Selected Asian countries, Worldwide 1 & Worldwide 2)

Coverage commences 6 hours to the booked departure time for a direct journey to the place of embarkation in Malaysia and ceases on whichever of the following occurs first: 1. 6 hours after booked arrival time at the final destination in Malaysia; 2. Immediate upon arrival at your home residence in Malaysia; or 3. The expiry of the period of Insurance specified in the Policy. Coverage shall be extended at our sole discretion for up to 30 days from the expiry of the period of insurance without payment of any additional premium if you are hospitalized and/or quarantined overseas as recommended by a doctor or as a result of any circumstances beyond your control which is deemed reasonable by us prohibiting your return to Malaysia prior to the insurance expiry.

How do I cancel my Policy and get a refund of the premium paid?

No refund of premium will be allowed once the Insurance Policy Contract is issued.

Who do I contact for an emergency assistance or if I need to be admitted to a hospital while overseas?

Emergency assistance contact details are listed in your policy or Etiqa app. Always call the emergency hotline provided.

Can I do nomination for TripCare 360 plan?

Yes. You may nominate an individual to receive benefits payable upon the death of the Insured Person who purchased the Policy.
